An antique parlor heat stove by PENINSULAR STOVE CO of Detroit, Chicago and Buffalo, model 211. This stove is in need of restoration or for parts. This is a pretty stove with both Victorian and Art Nouveau design elements. As it stands it is 40" tall to the top of the brass finial and measures 16 1/2" across and 14" 1/4 deep at the bottom. Across the front of the bottom it is cast WORLD'S LEADER, and a large initial "K" is cast underneath the opening for the flue. The stove is missing the base. It would have been 14 1/4 X 16 1/2 . The mica or isinglass panes in the door and on both sides of the stove show some damage and loss. There is a little loss to the iron at the top of the left and right sides where the cap sits on it. The domed cap is cracked, the round plate on top is cracked in two. we have one of the foot warmer rest , missing the other. There are 2 pieces of a teracotta type material in the bottom and another is like stovepipe the bottom has some breaking through places .The brass finial sits a little cocked.and most likely is missing its scroles. There is surface rust on the iron. PICK UP ONLY.
