This antique salt-glazed stoneware jug is a throwback to moonshine days and Prohibition, and a great slice of American history! In excellent shape for its age, it has a rich, dark brown slip-glaze finish. A wonderful piece!

Unsure of maker. Hails from 1900-1920s sometime.

No real damage anywhere that I can see, beyond age and minor wear. Has a crack in the bottom and partway up one side, but it doesn't go through. Still watertight.

8 3/4" tall x 7 1/2" in diameter at the widest point.
