I'm pleased to offer this "Wonderful" ANTIQUE
WM. A. ROGERS Silver Plated TRUMPET VASE.
It measures 12-1/2" tall overall, including it's RIGID HANDLE. The trumpet shaped BODY of the vase measures 6-1/2" tall X 5-1/2" in diameter at the rim X 2-7/8" in diameter, at the base.
This "Fine Quality" SMALL SIZE late 1800's elegant DISPLAY VASE features an elaborate "Art Nouveau" engraving all around the broad rolled rim. There are BLANK SPACES for personalized monograms on both the front & back of the rim, and on the handle as well. The PIERCED METAL large loop HANDLE is also nicely engraved.
Incised lettering reads: 1881 Rogers / double "R" in wreath logos / 304. (see images).
This is the early mark of the Ontario, Canada firm known as Wm. A. Rogers, Ltd. It maintained offices in NYC and had factories in Niagara Falls, NY and North Hampton, MA. The company began producing plated silver goods in 1894 and in 1929 it became known as Oneida.
RARE in this small size configuration, there are NO inordinate dents or dings. The interior shows use as a vase and the rich, silvery finish could use a complete & thorough polishing.
This "Unusual" EARLY EXAMPLE of
WM. ROGERS "Art Nouveau" SILVERPLATE
is in overall, FINE CONDITION for it's age!

REGARDING FEEDBACKS: In the present ebay feedback format, sellers are graded by buyers in (4) specific categories: Item Description, Communication, Shipping Time & Shipping Cost. As a seller, I always try to describe my items exactly as they are & offer numerous photos in my listings so that a bidder can evaluate the item before placing a bid in an auction or purchasing a buy-it-now item. Additional photos and/or answers to specific questions are always available upon request and I always communicate with the buyer at each phase of the transaction. I will ship the item within (3) days of receiving payment. I have NO control, however, over the shipping cost or delivery time that is required by the US Postal Service and which is PLAINLY QUOTED in my listing PRIOR to the sale. When entering a feedback for me after receiving your item, please consider carefully & fairly before selecting a Grade less than 5 in any of the (4) categories. Your "less than 5" grading will have a negative impact on ebay options available to me as a seller. Additionally, a "less than 5" grading of the (2) shipping categories has NO EFFECT on the Postal Service at all, however, it does effect me. Kindly afford me the opportunity of addressing any particular concern you may have regarding the transaction that would prevent you from entering an overall, POSITIVE FEEDBACK and a GRADE 5 in ALL of the FEEDBACK CATEGORIES. Be assured that I will happily enter a 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK on your behalf, upon receiving the SAME from you.
