Very interesting, attractive and detailed period world map, much has changed. Australia is shown as New Holland, United States is only at right hand side, Hawaii is Sandwich Isles, and much much more. The map has a crease at left hand side, and a bit of clean seperation at bottom left, along the fold, this has been neatly repaired with archival tape. The map can be flattened under heavy books as well, if framed properly will look fine. Fascianting, detailed and very attractive period map of this area at this time. The map is printed on fine period paper, with no printing on reverse. This is an an antique 1805 map and not a reprint or reproduction. The size is 8.5" by 12.5". Rare.
