The Japanese kanji symbols for Aikido ("The Way of Harmonious Spirit") are professionally hand-brushed onto a high-quality Japanese scroll. The scroll's backing is made of fabric (not paper) and it will look great in a dojo or anywhere that you have the space to hang it.

All pieces are individually brushed. When finished, they are marked with the artist's hanko (stamp) . Their authenticity is absolutely guaranteed, and the work is produced and shipped from Kanazawa, Japan.

Note: Please be careful when buying Japanese calligraphy. Some are clearly done by amateurs; some of whom are not familiar with the Japanese language. Often the kanjis are not correct for the intended meaning. (We've even seen this on tattoos!) Authentic Japanese calligraphy is an art that takes many years to truly master. This piece is done in the beautifully fluid "gyosho" (semi-cursive) style.
