A Victorian Carved Walnut Side Chair, Renaissance Revival
This is a fine Victorian side chair directly from the estate of a wealthy family with roots in Philadelphia. This example reminds me of the laminated examples by John Belter. I am attaching an image from a photography studio from Philadelphia that used the exact same chair in their image. This is just a copy of the image, I do not have the original.
Condition: Excellent. Probably refinished in the past 50 years. Later upholstery has some wear, but overall in good condition. Chair is sturdy and strong, can be used.
Measurements: 41″H x 19″W x 19-1/2″D; Seat height: 16″
