In the event a part sold with a warranty fails to operate within the warranty period we will replace the part(s) with a functionally equivalent part or refund the part purchase price, at our option. No refund on deposits, unwanted special order parts, or special "cut" items. If you have any question on the warranty of your part, please ask prior to purchase.

To return an item you must contact us via eBay messaging or toll free aT 86-291-2222 within the 30 day period to obtain a RMA number (return material authorization) and the item must be returned within that 30 day period unless other permissions are given.

Original shipping charges and return shipping charges are not refunded. Buyer is responsible for return freight unless the seller offers to handle return shipping. If an item is unwanted, ordered incorrectly, or not needed a 20% re-stocking fee may be assessed at our option.

Once you obtain an RMA number, ship the item back to Gauger & Son Salvage, Inc., 7692 Helena Road, Arena, WI 53503 along with the RMA number, and a short note explaining the return.

Our default shipping rates are for the 48 US states only via UPS Ground, Fed-Ex Ground, USPS, or Spee-Dee, R&L Carriers and similar LTL providers. At an extra charge, Alaska, Hawaii, and APO. We do not ship to Puerto Rico, other US Territories, or internationally at the present time.

Standard handling time is 1-3 business days (Monday-Friday) not including the day of purchase. Standard shipping time is 3-7 days depending on location, and if a delivery appointment needs to be scheduled or not. Freight Items
We will not ship freight items and some larger or fragile parts outside of the 48 US states. For large items that must be shipped via Freight Truck (i.e. engines, transmissions, rear axles, large sheet metal items), a business delivery address is preferred and a telephone number is required. If not an additional residential charge may apply.

We can also arrange for you to pick up your freight item at your local freight terminal. For an accurate residential freight quote, please contact us before your purchase be sure to include the destination zip code. If for some reason our shipping cost is greatly over this estimate, we reserve the right to ask for additional funds or an alternate ship to address.

Shipping Deadlines
We will process every order in the order it"s received, an order is not received until it is paid for in full unless other arrangements have been made. Our business hours are from 8:00am-5:00pm M-F and 8:00am-1:00pm Sat. CST. Business days are Monday-Friday and does NOT include Saturday. Orders placed after 10:00 am CST cannot be guaranteed shipping that day (if that option applies to your listing). Handling time is typically between 1-3 days not including the day of purchase. All Non-Freight items will typically be sent via Fed-Ex or Spee-Dee whichever is least expensive. If you need 2nd day air or Next day air service please call us directly for best results. You may also add this service during checkout but we can only guarantee shipment of these orders if it is placed before 10:00 am CST. Standard shiping time on small ground packages will range from 1-4 business days and will mainly depend on how close the buyer is to Wisconsin. For freight items Standard handling time is 1-3 business days (Monday-Friday) not including the day of purchase that is to allow time for pulling the unit if need be, testing, cleaning and preparing the item for shipping. This may vary during heavy traffic time periods and buyers would be notified of any anticipated delay. Standard shipping time on LTL item is 3-7 days depending on location of the recipiant in relation to Wisconsin, if a delivery appointment needs to be scheduled or not, if the buyer is located in a limited access delivery area or not, if a correcct address is provided or not and if a telephone number is provided or not. This is also providing that we have adequate payment,including additional funds required to process the shipment. Core Charge. Core is an acronym for 'Cash On Return'. A core charge is sometimes applied to rebuildable parts such as engines or alternators that can be redeemed for a portion of their original price. If the part you are purchasing has a core charge applied, it will be noted in the description. Most core charges are only assessed on local pick up transactions only.
Pictures. We are working hard to include a picture(s) with all of our listings. If a picture is not yet provided please just ask and one will be provided as soon as possible. Stock images are provided for rims and wheel covers to show the style that is being sold, and for identification purposes. They are not reflective of the actual condition being sold. Item specifics, part grade, conditions and options should be used to determine condition. Some parts due to location are very difficult to get pictures of if they remain on the donor vehicle such as; window regulators, flywheels, fuel pumps, and suspension parts. We will do our best to do so, however other means of verifying it"s the correct part such as VIN# comparison may be more feasible for both parties.
Parts Grading. A standard code system is used to communicate the condition and quality of a part between automotive recyclers, automotive repair shops, and insurers. Knowing how these codes are used will help you understand whether the part meets your expectations before you buy it and what you can expect from the part when you receive it.

A Grade	- The highest quality part. It is of low miles and/or great condition for its age. A condition does not mean new or perfect it means the item is in great used condition. Visual flaws still may be present as the item is used. Condition grades are given by the seller in accordance to industry standards.
B Grade	- The second level quality part. It is of average miles and normal condition for its age. Comon used part visual blemishes most lilkely are present.
C Grade	- The third level quality part. It has high miles and/or light-medium damage.
No Grade	- A part that has not yet been graded. Please ask if no grade is yet given prior to purchase.
