HID COLOR TEMPERATURE
Color Temperature is a measurement in Degrees Kelvin that indicates the hue of a specific type of light source. Many people believe the misconception that color temperature is a rating of the brightness of the bulb or HID kit. This belief is completely false. The reality of the matter is that the higher the color temperature, the less usable light output you will obtain. The 6000K bulb produced 15% less light than the 4300K. HID kits rated at 4300K or 6000K actually produces the best usable light output.
We recommend that customers mainly go with the 4300K OEM White or the 6000K Diamond White color temperature to ensure brightness and color.
HID BULBS
HID bulbs are Xenon Gas charged bulbs that put out an average of 3-4 times the brightness of ANY halogen. Do not be fooled by the “XENON Gas filled halogens”, they do not have nearly the light output of a REAL HID system, keep in mind, they are still just halogens. You do not have a true HID system unless you have HID bulbs and HID ballasts. Also the estimated life span for our HID bulbs is about 3000+ hours
HID BALLAST
Our HID ballasts some of the best technology for superior functionality. Our HID ballasts are the newest version on the market today. New technology has been developing to reduce the amount of defects by moving the bulky igniter inside the ballast and still keep it in a small compact size, also using automated machine welding to ensure accurate welds and soldering, this custom assembly dramatically reduces the defect rate. Each HID ballast and bulb is individually tested and with for 2 year no hassle warranty.
GERTEC- HID Conversion Kit is a True Plug-N-Play Kit. Our conversion kits fit into your headlight housing perfectly. No modification or retrofitting is required. No need to cut your stock headlight wiring.
Just connect the wiring harness from the stock headlight wiring to the ballast. From the ballast, connect the wiring harness from the ballast to the HID Bulbs. Put the HID Bulb back into your headlight housing and your done. Detailed instructions will be included in the kit. Please use the bulb replacement guide to find out what bulb size your car us.
