Cameras fitted with normal lenses do not allow the photographer to move closer than a certain minimum distance from the object being photographed. The Close-Up lens, which is simply mounted in the front of our normal lens, allows us to take close-ups and also makes possible the photography of details which would be quite impossible without using the Close-Up lens. This is a great solution to get as close to the subject as possible. These lenses enable you to get as close as 4 inches from the subject. Ideal for cataloging small items and focusing on details. Close up helps you go closer to a subject and help you to enlarge a particular portion from a group photograph. Because of short distance , depth -of- field being shallow, use of smallest lens stop is recommended. Macro lens has the biggest magnification. It is used to capture tiny details of the subject.

RED FILTER: This filter is specially used to effectively increase the contrast. Its ideal for dramatic cloud effects in all types of  landscapes. It can also be applied creatively in color and infrared photography.

YELLOW FILTER: This filter is highly effective for outdoor portraits is red is rendered dark while green appear slightly lighter. These filters are designed for use with Black & White photography. However, they can also be used in color photography to produce special color effects for professional purposes.

GREEN FILTER: Great for correcting skin tones, bringing out facial expressions in close-ups and emphasizing the feeling of liveliness. A green filter is highly effective for indoor portraits under tungsten lighting.

BLUE FILTER: This is a set of three strongly colored filters in Moonlight Blue, Vivid Pink and Deep Mauve and can be used to give a single color effect to the whole picture. Its supposed to be used in daylight, the Moonlight Blue filter gives the effect of a night time, moonlit scene whilst the other two filters allow graphic and unusual images to be produced for special impact.

             ORANGE FILTER: This filter increases contrast between red and yellow. Its particularly useful for distant outdoor shots taken with a telephoto lens. Also useful in color photography for spectacular sunsets, seascapes, etc. These filters are primarily designed for use with Black & White photography.           NEUTRAL DENSITY FILTER: What a nuetral density filter (or ?ND filter?) allows you as a photographer to do ? that couldn?t be done otherwise ? is to shoot in rather brightly lit situations, and yet keep a relatively slow shutter speed and/or wide open aperture. The reasons for doing this? Well, perhaps you want to shoot a landscape image during daylight hours, and for aestetic reasons you feel that a shallow depth of field is important ? something that an aperture of f4 or so would provide. At the same time, it might be that a relatively slow shutter speed is what you think will make that shot work out best ? let?s say around 1 or 2 seconds of exposure? The solution? A very dark neutral density filter cutting down on the amount of light going into your camera.
