This listing is for a nice original frame for a 56 Chevrolet 2 door and 4 door sedan. This WILL NOT be correct for a convertible. - This frame can also be used on hardtops, but will require the extra body support brackets that were used on hardtop frames. We do not have the extra hardtop support brackets so you would need to transfer those from your hardtop frame and add them to our frame.

Please Note! The pictures shown below are for reference only! This is a 1957 Chevrolet frame but you will not be receiving this frame! It is only pictured to show you the typical condition of the frame you will be getting! We have 100s of nice rust free frames and it isn't feasible to get pictures of all of them. The frame you will receive will be bare - no suspension, no unboltable pieces.

The frame you will receive will be straight and solid, like the one pictured below. The frame will most likely have surface rust on it like the one pictured, but there won't be any heavy scale rust or rotting areas at all. We are in the Northwest where we have rain, but we don't use salt or chemicals on our roads in winter. It's not the rain that kills these frames, it's the salt and chemicals used on the roads during ice and snow storms. You guys back east know what I'm talking about! Here is your chance to get a nice solid original frame. This would be a nice addition to you 1956 Chevrolet.

Shipping

Domestic:   Yes! Unlike most other sellers on eBay we will actually ship these frames. The frame must be delivered to a business with the ability or manpower to unload the frame, or picked up at the closest shipping terminal.

International:   We do provide our frames to international customers, but because there are so many rules and regulations depending on the shipping company and the country it is being delivered to, we leave the shipping arrangements to the customer. The frame can be picked up here at our business location by the shipping company of your choice, or we can have it shipped to your shipping company here in the States for a fee. We do not provide any palleting or crating of our frames, so be sure your shipping company is aware of that.

* Canadian Bidders - We normally ship via U.S. Postal Service into Canada. Despite being right next door, there are still often delays through USPS. Please be aware of that and blame them for any delay, not us. UPS costs more but you will get it much more quickly. *

When applicable, the New Old Stock (NOS) parts that we offer for sale are original production, assembly line pieces. Being assembly line pieces, there are often factory flaws in the part. There is no such thing as a "flawless" NOS piece, so please keep that in mind when restoring your vehicle. Unless noted otherwise in the description above, the part pictured is exactly what would have been found on the car when it was new.

Payment:   Payment must be received within 5 days of the end of auction. If there is going to be a delay for any reason, simply send me a note to let me know. I am more than willing to work with my customers as long as they work with me. However, I have little patience with endless promises and ignored emails. Payment can be made via PayPal online, and Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover is accepted over the phone.

We are closed Sundays and Mondays, and our shipping days are Tuesday-Friday. If you purchase one of our items and pay for it after 12:00 noon on Friday, then it will ship on the following Tuesday.

Shipping:   Unless otherwise noted, we ship our items via UPS in the Continental U.S. We are very familiar with their rules and regulations, so please look over their regulations, especially in regard to their new Dimensional Weight rule, before questioning our shipping prices. We package our items with the safety of the item in mind, not to save a few dollars in shipping costs. For locations outside the Continental U.S., we usually ship by U.S. Mail unless otherwise requested.

Dimensional Weight:   As per the UPS website - If the cubic size of the package (LxWxH) is 5,184 inches or larger, divide the cubic size by 194 to determine dimensional weight in pounds. If the cubic size is less than 5,184, use the actual weight of the package.

Returns:   Returns will only be accepted if there is obvious and legitimate damage that was overlooked in our description, or if the item was damaged in shipping. No returns on electrical items. No returns will be accepted because of buyers remorse, or because of unrealistic expectations of the parts purchased. All returns are subject to the seller's discretion, and restocking fees will apply if we find the return was not warranted. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
