Up for sale is a quantity of 10 (ten) over 55% SILVER (Ag) solder brazing rods (these are Cadmium-Free  silver brazing alloy rods, not a soft solder)  Each rod measures 18 in. X 1/16 in. with a total weight  for all 10 rods of about  3 (three) U.S. ounces (NOT Troy ounces) or about 85 grams (each rod’s weight varies ever so slightly)  Silver prices continue to rise!



 This Cadmium-free SILVER solder alloy contains:

55.51% Silver (Ag)

22.14% Copper

16.91% Zinc

5.34% Tin

 

These high-quality SILVER brazing rods have a SILVER content of over 55% which combines high strength with a low melting temperature of about 1150 degrees Fahrenheit.  SILVER prices continue to rise!

 

Cadmium-free means it’s safe to use on food handling utensils and medical  equipment, as well as applications such as, refrigeration & air-conditioning systems, and stainless steel bonding.  The 1/16” diameter makes this alloy especially suitable for intricate work like jewelry.  To reduce shipping costs the rods will be shipped bent, in a curved “U” shape.  Don’t miss out on these valuable high-quality SILVER solder brazing rods!
