This 500W power supply is a great replacement for the 360W PS that came with my nine ... This 500W power supply is a great replacement for the 360W PS that came with my nine year old Dell Studio XPS 435MT. It was easy to install and worked the first time. Plus, it seems quieter than the old one. The cables are plenty long enough to reach most anywhere in the machine, and provide enough power connectors for my two DVD drives and two hard drives. The cable bundle comes out on the opposite side from the original PS, but that does not affect the operation. You might have to turn the cables at odd angles to plug them into the drives. Overall, I'm happy with this unit! Attached photos: 1) Overview showing all cables and their length, and 2) close-up of label.
