I created this unique high voltage power supply from the inards of a high output electrostatic air cleaner that I salvaged. The base measures 9” by 4-1/2, and it stands 5” high. Use it for your high voltage experiments… Perhaps a small Tesla coil, ion generator, or even to charge capacitor arrays  in a Marx Generator.

While I can’t quite remember what the amperage rating is, I can say that it will give you quite a “poke” if you’re not careful. The contacts will produce a spark  ranging from ½” to ¾”. KNOWLEDGE OF HIGH VOLTAGE SAFETY IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
