A nice book to have and enjoy Breaks history down by years Lots of history of Fender players Some I was surprised by Was disappointed that there was No Mention of Pink Floyd's Dave Gilmour.. This, I consider to be a serious oversight and I'd really like to hear the reason for the omittance. The man was like that founding member of the Strat Pack.. And one of the earliest professional players to adopt and use a Fender loyally and nearly exclusively, with the exception of acoustics that Fender didn't produce in its early years. It is really a bit sad that this was done. It reflects that the writer/producers of the book were either inept or glaringly biased to have comitted this obvious oversight. And I do hope that this was not the case.

Better than a coffee table book with a decent but abbreviated history of Fender and his guitars. Worthwhile addition for the collector of lover of older electric guitars. I guess I'd call it a broad overview.

i like gibsons, rickenbackers, guilds, martins. i love fender guitars. i am honored to have several and they are sweet. this book takes the reader through the history of this great american company, with great pictures. there is a section on each guitar which is very interesting. the authors list the original selling price, what that would be at today's rate, and offer an estimate of what the original guitar is worth today. this book is a must for all guitarists.
Great book about the history of Fender.
