          This auction is for 50 1865 Maximillian Mini pesos.  These coins are plated in 22kt gold.  They are not solid gold.  Please see the pictures above.  The coins are very small (10mm)  They are great for young collectors, or for resale on eBay or retail locations.  They are not meant to be scrapped out although it would be interesting to try for the low investment.  50 coins is approx 20-23 grams.   I have not acid tested these coins, I do not have the time to go through and test them one by one.  


         Although small, these coins are very beautiful, and heavy for their size due to the gold plating.
