Quality and Knots per Square Inch
Most of our rugs are first quality handmade rugs which have been hand picked and imported from various countries from all over the world. We list our hand knotted rugs quality by the knots per square inch in 1 inch increments. So if the quality is 10/10 the kpsi would be 100 knots per square inch. If it is 14/14 the kspi is 196. Just multiply the two numbers together to get the kpsi. If you have any concern about the quality of our rugs please just send us a message.
Handmade rugs
Handmade rugs have a light side and a dark side of each rug. This can be seen more on some rugs than others but is  fact that should be noted. Standing on one end of the rug will produce a different shade (lighter or darker) than when standing on the opposite side of the rug. Please take this into consideration when purchasing any handmade rug. Most of our pictures show both sides of the rug but not all of them. If there is some that you would like to see just send us a message.
