Antique Victorian Loetz Cranberry and Vaseline Brides Bowl!

This is a beautiful and colorful brides bowl from the Victorian era. This gorgeous bowl was produced by Loetz in the Bohemian region of Germany around 1890. The striking colors include the milk glass white outer rim which is applied to the vaseline rim and then attached to the cranberry colored bowl. The back of the bowl is milk glass white except for the vaseline ring. It has a beautiful wavy pie crust crimped outer rim. We have had this beauty in our own collection for years. It looks so inviting you just want to taste it! There are 2 pin head sized ash marks and one tiny UNburst bubble which show in the first photo. The base has a ground pontil mark. There are no chips or cracks. Size is 11" wide and 3" tall.

Top Shelf Antiques now accepts consignments or will buy one piece or an entire collection. Please write us for more information or call 903.844.9191.
