ALFA 5m (16 feet) USB Active Repeater Extension Cable for AWUS036H buffers power

This is a 5m (16 feet) USB extension cable from Alfa Network (model AUSBC-5M). This is an "active repeater" cable which is a special type of cable that buffers power over the distance of the cable. Standard passive extension cables- the kind you may find on eBay for a few bucks, do not buffer the power signal and lose power over the cable length. This means they cannot offer enough power for high consumption devices, such as Alfa's line of long range Wi-Fi USB networking adapters including AWUS036H, AWUS036NH, and AWUS036NHR. This also has special shielding to insulate against power loss- you will notice out of the package it is quite a bit thicker than standard USB cables.

This cable allows you to place your long range W-Fi adapter (or any USB device for that matter) up to 16 feet away from the computer. If your computer is located away from a window, use this cable to put your Wi-Fi adapter closer to the window for improved reception.

Shipping Options

Orders will generally be shipped in one business day.

US 50 States + Puerto Rico: FREE US Postal Parcel Post/First Class. This includes delivery confirmation and insurance. It can take from 3-7 days to arrive, and sometimes longer.

US 50 States + Puerto Rico: $3.99 US Postal Priority Mail. This includes delivery confirmation and insurance. According to the US Postal Service, Priority Mail takes an average of 2-3 delivery days to arrive. This is not a guaranteed transit time though, it is just an average delivery time.

US 48 States: $8.50 UPS Ground Service. This includes insurance and tracking. This rate is only for bidders in the Continental US. We do ship to Alaska/Hawaii and APO/FPO but it must go via the US Postal Service so please take a look at a US Postal option. If you need the item shipped via an expedited method like 2nd Day Air, please inquire with your zip code for rates before bidding. UPS Ground can take from 1-7 days or longer depending on your proximity to our shipping location which is in Florida.

International Shipping Rates and Information: Shipping outside of the US is $7.99. This is for Standard mail which takes about 2-4 weeks to arrive. International buyers can also select Express mail at checkout for $29.00. Express normally takes about 7-10 days but can take longer because of varying custom hold times. Many countries will charge the recipient import tax on items purchased on eBay. We do not have knowledge of which countries charge tax and how much it could be. Customers are advised to contact their local postal or tax offices prior to bidding. Rokand is not responsible and will not reimburse international buyers for taxes charged on delivery. Rokand cannot mark items as gifts, lower the value of the goods on the customs form, or engage in any other modification to assist in the lowering or elimination of valid taxes.

Payment Details

United States bidders: Payment can be made via PayPal. We can also take credit card orders directly (details for direct credit card payment will be emailed to buyer at the time the sale is processed by our staff). Payment must be made in full before we ship. Payment is due within 7 days from purchase. Florida state sales tax of 6.25% will be added at checkout only to buyers in Florida. There is no sales tax in any other state. Residency is determined by your shipping address.

Accepted International Payment Methods: For international payment, we accept PayPal. Due to restrictions of our merchant processor, we are not able to take credit cards that do not have a USA billing and shipping address.

Return Policy

The following is our return policy. We are not able to make exceptions to this policy. Bidding or selecting "buy it now" on this or any of our auctions constitutes full acceptance and agreement with all of our auction terms including our return policy.

This item is guaranteed to work for 30 days. We also want customers to be able to return products that they don't want, don't like, or did not mean to buy. Because we incur costs for each return (ebay fees, needing to resell open box items at a much lower price, etc.), we charge a minimal 10% restocking fee on all returned items (new and used), except for products that are defective. As many of our listings include free or discounted shipping options, this also helps cover our original postage expense.

We believe this is a fair policy as many electronic industry web sites charge a 20% restocking fee and do not even allow working items to be returned. You can choose between returning an item for exchange or refund. Please contact us for support if needed- if our support staff cannot get the item working for you, no restocking fee will be applied to your return, even if it ends up not testing defective here. If you return a product without contacting and troubleshooting with us, a restocking fee will be applied if the product tests working upon receipt here. Buyers should contact us for our return mailing address. Shipping and return shipping are not refundable unless we err, such as ship the wrong version of a product. There are no other warranties on this auction, expressed or implied, unless otherwise stated in the description above..

INTERNATIONAL BUYER & SHIPPING TERMS

As noted in our shipping section, we do ship many items outside of the USA. However because we cannot pre-screen buyers, we reserve the right to cancel and refund any international purchase that we deem a risk. Here are some important things to know about importing shipments from the USA:

It is against eBay rules for Rokland to collect any duty up front with your payment.
2. Insurance and proof of shipment: Items sent outside the USA are insured. US Postal Regulations state insurance covers only the cost of the product, and does not cover the shipping charge. Therefore if your shipment is lost, your postage/shipping is not refundable. When you inquire for shipping rate quotes, we will advise you of the average time frame for delivery. If your product has not arrived within 45 mailing days of shipping (30 days for Express shipments), please contact us so we canl file an insurance claim on your behalf. The US Postal Service requires that all insurance claim filings include a signed letter from you, the recipient, stating you have not received the parcel shipped to your address. This is a requirement and the letter can be faxed to us, scanned and emailed, or sent through Postal mail. We cannot issue any refunds for lost packages or ship any replacements without this letter. If you select a replacement, we will pay to ship it to you. If you select a refund, you will be refunded only the price of the product, as noted above US Postal Regulations do not allow us to insure the cost of the postage.
