About this Painting A beautiful woman in a lavender kimono enjoys a quiet moment. Her silk kimono is intricately painted with a large, ornate flower pattern. Her flowing black hair is adorned with traditional japanese hair ornaments called kanzashi. The style of this painting is inspired by Japanese woodblock art prints in the Ukiyoe style. The painting has many tiny details that are better appreciated in person. This piece would make an excellent addition to your ACEO collection, or it would make a fantastic gift to be framed and displayed on it's own. This is an ORIGINAL painting, not a print or reproduction, and it is signed and dated by me, the artist, both on the front and on the back of the piece. The photograph/scan of the painting may have been cropped slightly to fit the auction format. Each of my paintings are created with archival quality, professional artist materials. This ACEO will last a lifetime if properly stored.
