For the first 30 days of your purchase you may return the merchandise for a full money back refund, excluding any shipping charges (See restrictions below). No RMA number is required to return an item, simply include a copy of your receipt and write on the front why you are returning the item and what you want us to do with it. i.e. Exchange, Replace or Refund.
All returns must meet our guidelines below.
Returned or exchanged products must be in pristine resellable condition and have all original manufacturers packaging, materials and accessories, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, and blank warranty cards.

Works well, bulky, but a PITA to install
Bought this to replace my last color inkjet printer, which I seem to need to do every 2-3 years. Wanted to try a laser color printer to stop having to deal with clogged inkjet cartridges, etc etc; after reading a few mixed reviews of the SP C250DN, I decided to that the tradeoffs (bulkiness, weight, and noise) were acceptable given the low price.
The positives? First off - let me repeat; it's big, it's heavy, and it's loud...but my hope is that this denotes a quality and well built printer that should last. So far I've printed about 50 pages, both B&W and color, and the B&W looks great with the color good (for business documents) but not what I would call photo printer quality. Get a good Epson Artisan or similar for that. Note that it does have a 20-30 sec warm up period before it will start printing...and as already stated, it's noisy. Fine in a home office, not so much for the family room shared printer.
The bad? Installation and wireless setup is anything but simple - the documentation is poorly done, the installation disks don't match the included documentation, the drivers on the Ricoh site didn't work, and I actually gave up twice and didn't install it until weeks later when my old printer finally died (noting using the printed docs I could get the printer online, but it only ever printed random strings of ASCII characters). I ended up spending an hour or so searching Google until I found a post somewhere (sorry, can't remember source) that had a clear description of which updated drivers to use and how to properly step through IP setup using the included CD's (the front panel setup process never worked properly for me). Happy now but I really dread the day I need to do this again.

For the price it's great. Setup is a challenge, mobile is eh.
Let me start by saying for the price, this is a great printer. The actual printing is very solid, and via USB it's everything you could want. Print quality for a laser is excellent.
That doesn't mean it isn't without fault. The challenges come in when considering connectivity. I had read reviews that the wifi is very tricky. I brushed the reviews off as probably user error... Don't make the same mistake. WiFi is very tricky. I've set up Epson, HP, and Samsung printers without trouble. Still cannot get this one to work via wifi.
Instead I connected it via LAN. It works fine if I connect computers directly to its IP address, but it's oddly not discoverable.
Lastly, you probably just assume mobile printing works fine... But note the specs. It calls for Windows OS... Even using the IP directly, we cannot get it to print off tablets or phones EXCEPT using the Ricoh app. While that sounds fine, it requires you to open whatever you want to print in the app instead of printing from websites or emails. This means you have to save emails as PDFs then open the PDF through the app, or use the apps built in browser to navigate to the website. Those are both major inconveniences I never expected. The app does allow printing from Google drive and drop box though!
As long as you are prepared for those limitations though it's a great printer, especially at its price.

A good deal on sale-but be prepared for the size and weight.
I got this printer on a great sale with free shipping. (At over 50 some pounds shipping could have been substantial)
The Printer is a third larger than the color HP or Brother L.J. machines I had also been looking at, but the sale price tipped the balance to the Ricoh.
The printer arrived with a high voltage error (Error 300)--but with a year warranty Ricoh was very helpful about what to try to correct it. (re-install drum assembly) When this did not work they dispatched a technician to my house. While the technician could not get the correct manual, his job was primarily to determine if it could be fixed on-site.(no)
Ricoh sent a replacement printer with return label arriving in only half a week. The replacement unit worked immediately.
Don't go through changing settings until you get it connected. If you are trying to configure wi-fi mode, don't turn on any other modes until after that is finished. (Wifi setup wizard and DHCP to start, or plug it into an Ethernet cable to make the configuration easier) Don't select "WPS" for quick wifi setup, unless you have a wps button on your router or it gets hung up there and won't talk to anything. Once it's on your network, print the list page from the menu, then access the web interface by entering the listed ip address to continue configuring the network printer settings. After that you can turn on USB port, power save, etc. from the menus.
That said, printed pictures are quite colorful and detailed in any mode above draft. Text is quite clear and even ok in draft mode.
The Toners on the page look a little shinier compared to an HP but this is not a negative, just an observation.

High quality at a low price!
I got this on sale, but from what I've seen in a fast, quiet, quality laser printer, it's worth it at the regular price. High-res picture files are incredibly sharp, even on regular paper. It does print cardstock smoothly. Duplex mode is the quickest two-sided printing I have ever seen (although the margin accuracy on the reverse side print is a little off for what I was doing. Still, that's not a deal-killer.) Wi-fi functions nicely- and yes, it is a bit of a trick to setup, but once it is, it's there when you need it to be. Overall, I say buy one or three- you won't be sorry you did.

cost effective and fast shipping
Over all quality is good ... wifi setup is very cumbersome plus menu very crude if you can pass that and spend time to setup .. printer so far works good .. print quality is very good for the price .... lower rating because it took a long time to setup the printer and I am fairly good with technology .... Instructions are crude and poorly written manual.
