Make your own super compact, low cost, high performance Sabre ES9023 premier stereo DAC using this PCB at home. The sound quality is excellent.The DAC has SPDIF and USB input with auto switching between sources and also has provision for I2S input from external sources. The DAC board uses WM8805 as spdif digital receiver and PCM2707 as usb receiver. The DAC can support sampling rate up to 192 Khz at 24 bit resolution. The DAC board has LED status indicators for spdif signal lock, usb and power on. The DAC board uses ultra low noise LDO regulators for exceptional performance. The DAC can work on regulated 5V power supply. The DAC can also work on four AA size Sanyo Eneloop batteries. The DAC board also has provision for ultra low phase noise crystal oscillator which can be used instead of the given standard free crystal if buyers wishes to do so. The ultra low phase noise crystal is available on digikey and mouser. All components are easily available on digikey, mouser and ebay. The pcb is a high quality FPT tested FR4 pcb. The pcb size is about 110 mm (l) x 60 mm (b). All necessary documentations will be provided for easy assembling of the DAC.
