Golden Age Loar LM-700-VS F-Style Mandolin with Case
Where Loar is concerned, this is as good as it gets. The LM700 is truly a master model instrument. To make these the luthier employed a finely detailed carving and graduating style for the top, which gives them an amazing open sound, that just resonates forever. Good clear bass, and warm smooth highs. The volume is nock your socks off good, and makes you not care you are playing in your bare feet. The top was hand carved from AAA Solid spruce. The beautiful maple back, sides and neck are carved from solid flamed maple. The LM-700 has a One-Piece flamed maple Neck with rounded "V" Profile. Quite comfortable. The neck is fitted with 1 1/8th inch polished bone nut, double adjustable truss rod, and ebony fret board. This baby is setup with D'Addario mandolin strings. The Loar LM-700 retails for $1,399. This mandolin will ship fedex insured inside the US, and US Priority International mail outside the US.

Condtion: This
mandolin plays very easy, and sounds great. The finish is beautiful.
This mandolin has had some damage in shipping. There is a 1/2
inch crack at the top of the treble side F-hole, and the top has sunken
on the treble side. The mandolin is still playable and it sounds good.
This would be a good beginner mandolin or smooth baby to carry around
traveling. This mandolin will ship in a hard shell Guardian mandolin
case. This mandolin does have a fresh setup and polish.
