For sale here is a knockout group of three superb vintage Bakelite high-contrast bangle bracelets! Guaranteed vintage Bakelite bangles, not reproductions or re-made from old parts. This group features three top quality rare and hard to find geometric Art Deco Bakelite bangle bracelets together in one group to be worn together or singly or mixed with others in your collection - each one is a knockout! Looking at my first photo, the top one is a black and cream bowtie, the middle one is a thick and chunky black and cream wide striped bangle bracelet, and the bottom one is a black and cream random dot aka gumdrop bangle bracelet. The stripe is from the 1930s, and the bowtie and random dot are by the Charles Elkaim company of New York and were made in the 1950s. The bowtie and random dot bracelets are both the 3/4" wide size, so quite sizeable and chunky! The stripe measures 1-3/8" wide with inside diameter of 2-5/8 and outside diameter of 3-3/8". It's a little unusual because the two cream sections are slightly different, one is closer to bone color, and the other is a very pale banana cream. This subtle difference doesn't show much when worn, but I'm pointing it out so there are no surprises. The bowtie and random dots are both 3/4" wide with 2-1/2" inside diameter and 3-3/8" outside diameter, so quite thick and chunky! All three are in great vintage condition, with the bowtie and stripe with minimal wear, and the random dot has some very small fine wear marks that you can see clearly in my close-up photos, but nothing that shows at all when worn - see my photos for close-ups.
