Shipping cost is based on the weight of the item (in packaging) and the zip code for delivery. I am always glad to combine shipping for multiple item auction winners, provided: (1) the auctions for the items end within 7 days of each other, (2) the auction items are conducive to combined shipping (which is almost always the case for clothing), and (3) you have not already made payment for any item won (through PayPal). Paypal charges me fees on every transaction, so if you want me to help you save money on shipping, please help me save money on paypal fees by paying for all your items at the same time. PLEASE email me (preferably BEFORE the auction ends for the first item you are bidding on) to let me know you are considering bidding on several items. Again, please do not make payment for any item until all auctions you are bidding on have ended. I strive to send out an invoice within 24 hours of the auction end date, and I try to always ship within 24 hours of auction payment - it's usually much less.
Items are mailed either through the United States Postal Service or the United Parcel Service (your choice) - both typically include electronic delivery notification/confirmation. I process 99% of my shipping through PayPal; if so, you will receive email confirmation of the actual shipment date and tracking number immediately after I print out the shipping label. Please contact me for a shipping quote if you desire a different delivery carrier, and I will do my best to accommodate your wishes. Your package should arrive within two to ten days of shipment.
I am also glad to ship internationally. International and APO bidders should contact me by email for shipping costs before an auction ends. International shipments are sent by USPS Priority Mail International, which is the preferred and recommended method for me to ship anything outside the US. USPS Priority Mail International shipments include tracking and indemnity coverage against loss, damage, or rifling (for item value typically up to about $65, and additional insurance coverage is available). All items shipped internationally will require a Customs Form for shipping - purchaser is responsible for any and all duties for items shipped to their country - the value assigned to the item on the customs form will be equal to the purchase price of the item - I WILL NOT under-estimate the value of the item, nor will I mark and item as a "Gift". I have to sign the customs form, attesting to the accuracy of the information on it, so please do not ask me to lie about the value of the item. Also, if the item is being sent to a post office box, please be sure to give me your phone number for the customs form - it is required - failure to give me your phone number can result in significant delays in shipment.
All sales are final...items are sold as-is. I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR GIVE REFUNDS FOR FIT. If you have a problem with that, then please do not bid. I spend a considerable amount of time describing and properly measuring clothing, so I ask you to take the time to compare the measurements to a similar garment to make sure the fit is correct. Please understand that by bidding, you are entering into a legally binding contract and you are agreeing to the terms within this listing. Returns are rarely granted, except in the case where you believe an item has been grossly misrepresented; under those conditions, you must contact me within 48 hours of receiving the item and let me know what the problem is. Under such a situation, I may decide to offer a partial or full refund of the purchase price (less return shipping), but that decision will be entirely at my discretion.
I sell on eBay as a hobby - this is not what I do to earn a living - but I still conduct business like it is. I enjoy selling on eBay for the same reason I enjoy buying on eBay - as I suspect most of you enjoy buying on eBay - there are great deals and hard to find stuff. My regular job keeps me outside (and out of town) frequently, and my other hobbies also keep me outside as well, so I have come to appreciate the value in a well constructed article of clothing or piece of outdoor gear. The right clothing is an essential part of any outdoor experience, and your enjoyment of the great outdoors is always based on how comfortable you are while outside. Finding quality outdoor clothing and gear at a great price is why you want to keep checking back to see what I've got up for auction.
Clothing is not only functional, but fun - so in addition to great outdoor clothing and gear, I began to sell interesting vintage clothing as well. Please check back often to find something that suites your unique style. I grew up a child of the 70's and 80's, so its always fun to find and offer stuff from back in the day. If you are interested in bidding/buying vintage apparel, please understand that such items may (or most likely) have imperfections, need a trip to the dry-cleaners or through the washing machine, or may not fit as expected. Unless the item is described as "Mint Deadstock," the item has been previously worn and will show varying degrees of wear and use. I strive my best to mention and describe any flaws, but it is possible to miss or overlook minor things. Much of the vintage clothing I come across has been out of use for some time, and may have been in storage. Vintage clothing sizes are generally quite different in fit that today's clothing sizes, therefore it is your responsibility to use the measurements provided above to compare the fit of the garment to that of something you already own to ensure a good and proper fit. I will not give refunds for items that do not fit you - that is why I take the time to provide measurements for you. Please give me the courtesy of checking these measurements BEFORE you bid on an item - similarly, if you have any questions about an item, please ask as soon as possible instead of waiting until the last few hours of the auction, as I most likely will not be able to reply before the auction ends.
We are not smokers, but we are pet owners (two dogs, two cats, two hamsters, a goldfish, and a turtle at present). None of our pets materially participate in the storage, listing, photography (although our dog is very photogenic), or shipping of the auction items, and I generally do a very good job of keeping auction items away from our pets. However, I cannot guarantee that a stray hair from our dog or cat will not make the trip from our house to yours. If that is a problem, then please do not bid. Also, much of the items offered are not originally purchased and used by us, so I cannot guarantee that they come from a smoke-free or pet-free home. If I detect an off-odor in an item, I try my best to clean it to remove the odor - usually, if the odor persists or cannot be removed, I do not offer it for sale.
