Here is a 1787 Fugio Cent with VF detail. It is a nice looking light tan brown on the surface with some lighter brown color on some of the raised details. The variety is 12-X. Check the scans. strong detail and great look. Not perfect but nice.

The coin has two clips. One is fairly large at 2 o'clock on the obverse. The other is very small at 6 o'clock on the obverse. The coin was removed from an ANACS slab as "VF 1787 1C 2135 FUGIO DBL CLIP". Neat error coin!

Characteristic of the variety, the coin has a strong die crack to the right of the sun. There is a vertical die crack through the rings on the lower reverse. There are others die cracks in other areas of the rings.

The coin has nice strong detail in most areas but has a few small weak struck areas characteristic of the variety.

Overall a nice high grade 1787 FUGIO Cent with a very neat and scarce error!
