This is a fully manual SLR camera, which is great for students. It's a really easy camera to learn with and its super durable (you can drop it and it won't fall apart). I absolutely love shooting with this camera, but I can't find the time to use it anymore. I'm also trying to pool money together to upgrade to a 5D. 


-Vivitar 70-150mm f/3.8-5.6 Lens (FD Mount)
This lens is so cool, and here's why: the front pulls out so you have an instant lens hood. For a long lens, it's really light and compact. It's great for portraits and detailed landscapes. At 70mm, you can get a really nice shallow depth of field (f/3.8) and close focus at objects less than 5 feet away from your lens.
