Here for your is a great vintage Be Cool Bangora straw Panama Style hat just in time for the forthcoming warm weather. This hat has marvelous ventilation for the hot days of summer which are on the horizon. There are some signs of its age on top of the crown which revealed themselves after the blocking process. This can be seen in all the pictures but more readily in the last photograph. If you have been considering getting yourself a fantastic vintage Straw hat you have stopped at the right place! The hat has been re-blocked and re-flanged to its current state along with the addition of a new leather sweatband. I have also added a vintage multicolor grosgrain ribbon and bow. All of the work done on the hat has been done by hand which means the leather sweat band and ribbon along with the bow has been sewn on to the hat by hand. It has now been restored and ready for many more years of wearing.

Now to the all too important information which will help you decide if this is the right vintage straw hat for you. This Be Cool Straw hat showcases a 2 1/2 inch brim with a 4 1/2 inch crown and a 1 1/2 inch vintage multicolor grosgrain ribbon with bow on the crown. Also this is an excellent open weave crown on the hat which allows more air flow to cool your head down in warm weather. This would be perfect for the hot summer months which are not too far off.
The size is a 7 1/8 or a 57 cm. with an interior circumference of the leather sweat band at 22 1/2 inches.
Check that against your favorite hat and see if this is the one for you. The age of this fine hat is unknown to me and you will have to be the judge of that. So if you want a great Vintage Be Cool straw hat for that someone special or for yourself and you want to do it with style; this would be an excellent choice for that extra special person.
