A working pair of Amperex "Bugle Boy" 12AU7 / ECC82 tubes. I bought these 6 1/2 years ago when they were tested and rated NOS+ by the previous seller. I believe they were the best of the batch he had. For the first few years after that they were used, along with other tubes, for tube rolling in a Decware ZBOX. For the last 2 years or so they have been in storage. The etched factory codes can be seen in the photos and are as follows:
#1 <Right-angled triangle> 6E3 - according to http://www.audiotubes.com/mullcode.htm this appears to mean they were produced in Heerlen, Holland, 3rd week of May, likely 1966 #2 <Right-angled triangle> 6G1 - according to http://www.audiotubes.com/mullcode.htm this appears to mean they were produced in Heerlen, Holland, 1st week of July, likely 1966 |
