 This is a Gibson A Mandolin from 1916 with ser #27265.  It needs some TLC. Cosmetically, it is OK with imperfections typical for its age.  The strings buzz, esp the E, and the nut needs to be replaced.  The bridge has a little lean to it.  There is a slight crack in the piece of wood next to the double fingerboard dots.  The neck does not look perfectly straight where it meets the body.  It will ship in a case from the 1970s that it doesn't fit especially well.  The case is in fair condition.  The strings are old.  I'm happy to provide more info if you want it, or more pictures.  You are welcome to come and see it before bidding, but I am selling it without any guarantee or right of return.
