Epiphone Les Paul Custom Blackback with Epiphone Hard Shell Case and Alnico V Humbuckers
If you want the king of solid body guitars, you want the Les Paul Custom. Introduced in 1954, the Custom has been the top of the line for decades. Often referred to as the "tuxedo" Les Paul because of it's original black finish, this Blackback model honors the timeless tradition where the Custom looks as good as it sounds! The Blackback model is Exclusive and available only at selected retailers, so I am very excited to be able to offer this beautiful instrument to you at a great savings!
The Custom has a solid, carved mahogany body which gives a slightly mellow tone. It also features a solid mahogany neck that is hand-fitted with a glued-in joint for optimum neck-to-body contact which allows the neck and body to resonate almost like one continuous piece of wood. The neck features a very comfortable and fast SlimTaper "D" profile that has become the most popular profile found on today's Les Pauls. The result is a tribute to Les' timeless guitar design with the sound and feel that you can only get with a real Les Paul.
At the heart of every Les Paul are the pickups, and the Custom doesn't disappoint! This Blackback has Alnico V Humbuckers rather than the Alnico Classic Humbuckers. The Alnico V contains a stronger magnet than the Alnico Classic, resulting in more output. The result is a tone that is both warm and subtle with a full and even response that doesn't hold back when you need that classic Les Paul crunch.
Other features include Epiphone's LockTone Tune-O-Matic StopBar combination bridge for increased sustain, 16:1 Grover machine heads, a 7-layer bound body, a 5-layer bound headstock, and a single-layer bound rosewood fingerboard.
The best part of my job is testing each guitar before I put it up for sale, and this LP did not disappoint. I played it through a Boss ME-50 and put it through it's paces, and it sounds great on any and every setting. Whatever style of music you are into, this Les Paul will deliver the goods.
I find no issues with this guitar performance wise or finish wise, but going to the refurbisher saves you cash! Like all of my guitars, this Les Paul passed 5 quality checks at the refurbisher that many of the guitars at your local music store could not pass, so you could say this guitar is better than new, but buying here saves you serious cash.
This Les Paul comes with a Custom Epiphone Hardshell Case.

A word about me and the instruments I sell
I specialize in manufacturer refurbished guitars and basses because I believe they are a tremendous value. These instruments have actually passed more quality tests than those that go straight from the manufacturer to a music store. These instruments do not have major flaws, they have had a minor issue such as a slight finish blemish or perhaps an electrical issue such as a loose solder joint. I buy my guitars and basses from the largest, and in my opinion the best, refurbishing center in the country located near Nashville. They are staffed with factory trained luthiers who take great pride in the products they put up for sale. Each instrument must pass 5 tests before it is released for sale. Some of the models are discontinued and have no issues at all. Each instrument is stamped used and issued a new serial number. This is to prevent unethical retailers from selling these instruments as new rather than refurbished. I live close enough to Nashville that I travel to the factory and pick out my guitars myself. I play each one prior to listing it for sale. You can be assured if I would not be proud to give it as a gift, I will not take it.
The pictures in my listings are ALWAYS of the actual instrument that you are bidding on, I never use stock photos for a refurbished instrument. If I know why the instrument was sent for refurbishing I will put it in the listing, however many of them are rated NVR, which means no visible repair. Please email me with any questions you have, you will find that I give very detailed answers. I am a musician first, and that drives my choice of instruments to sell and the detail that I give in answering any questions.

I have recently moved my business online, but I personally have many years of experience in the business. All of my manufacturer refurbished guitars come from the country's largest, and in my opinion best, refurbishing company. I travel to Nashville to personally choose the guitars that I sell. You will not be able to tell any refurbished guitar that you buy from me from a new one except for the used stamp that is required on these guitars. This is required even though the guitar has never been sold. This is to keep dishonest retailers from selling these guitars as new with full warranty. Although a refurbished instrument does not carry the manufacturer warranty, if you are dissatisfied when you get your instrument you may return it to me for a full refund. I have never had a customer return a refurbished guitar to me, and I am sure you will not be the first.
