Up for sale is a barely used Surly Instigator fork. I installed this on my single speed to raise up the front. Had it for about a year and less than 10 rides. Then I got a new bike with a suspension fork.
I used v-brakes so the disc tabs have never even had bolts through them. The only real blemish is a streak of white paint as seen in the pic. Here are the stats: Steerer has been cut 7" as seen in the pic 51mm IS Disc tabs and canti studs. disc brake housing guides axle to crown 447mm weight 3.13 before steerer was cut fits tires up to 2.7" 4130 Cro-mo steel 1 1/8" threadless steerer For 26" wheels Powdercoat Black When I got the fork I installed a new Cane Creek S-1 headset. The headset is also in beautiful and very smooth condition. If you would like this headset, add $5 to the total price. |
