Get an instant flock of pure bred chickens that lay brown eggs. Enjoy the visual splash of colors and variety in your own back yard or on the farm.
The eggs are all pure bred. You will get the first dozen eggs laid. Great choice for 4H kids to see several breeds of chicken hatching together.
Please leave me a note with your payment if you would like one certain breed excluded (may increase collection time). I try to honor your preferences as best I can.
If for some reason one of the breeds advertised does not lay eggs on your collection day, then you will not get eggs from that breed.
There is no guarantee on quantity of a certain breed. Eggs are marked as follows:

RI = Rhode Island Red
DE = Delaware
BA = Black Australorp
BO = Buff Orpington
BR = Barred Rock

This listing is for at least 12 eggs. I try to send extras if available. ***Orders are filled in the order received!!!***
If you need your eggs for a specific date, please email me with as much notice as possible and I will do my best to plan out a specific shipping date for you!
Collection time is about 1 day per each order of 12. Occasionally a 2nd day may be necessary to collect the eggs. Shipping is by Priority Mail 2-3 days. 

Each quantity of "1" is an order of 12 eggs. If you place an order for a quantity of "2" that is 24. It will take twice as long to collect the eggs.
Orders for more will be filled and shipped together. Please contact me if you would like to order more than two dozen eggs. Subject to availability.

"Hard Knocks Promise"
I do not guarantee hatches due to postal handling and incubation variables beyond my control. 
If you don't get any chicks, I would be happy to re-ship eggs for the price of postage.
The hard knocks promise only applies to orders of 1 or 2 (12 or 24 eggs)

I ship hatching eggs in such a way as to avoid a weekend. 
If you live in Eastern or Central time zone, eggs are shipped Monday - Wednesday.
If you live in Mountain or Pacific time zone, eggs are shipped Monday - Thursday
*** occasionally a west coast order may be filled before an east coast order when eggs are ready for shipment to a west coast location on a Thursday***


If you live local to me and would like to purchase hatching eggs or live chicks in person, please contact me for hatch dates and availability. 
I do not ship live chicks at this time!

I do not wash hatching eggs. Hatching eggs are laid by a hen with a protective layer. Some eggs may have a small amount soil/poop (scroll down to see photos of my eggs) on them but I will not send excessively dirty eggs. I clean nest boxes regularly during the hatching season and collect eggs frequently. Eggs are stored at between 50-60 degrees F on an auto turner prior to shipping.
