This auction is for an original watercolor illustration of the classic T&C Surf Designs character The Primal Urges Caveman, hand painted and signed by Steve Nazar, the creator of the classic T&C lineup of characters. It is a hand-painted, hand-signed original on archival quality, acid-free bristol board. It measures 14"x17", and is in excellent condition. It depicts the iconic T&C surf and skate character and some of his buddies skating down the back of a dinosaur. It is entitled "Primal Skate Crew". Also included in this auction is the original sketch on tracing paper from which the painting was created. It is also hand-signed by Mr. Nazar. Included as well is a certificate of authenticity attesting to the authenticity of all the artwork and signatures. This piece would be prized by any collector of eighties surf and skate art and pop culture in general, and fans of the classic T&C character designs in particular. |
