Usage: This
ointment is designed to aid in the healing and relief of a variety of skin
disorders such as
diabetic ulcers, bed sores, cuts and burns. It
also has been used by herbalists to give relief to fungal infections and
to help with athletes foot, ringworm and yeast type fungus.
Neem has
traditionally been used for fighting most epidermal dysfunctions such as
acne, psoriasis, and eczema by reducing inflammation and destroying a wide range
of parasitic organisms. Neem is also known for its beneficial insecticidal properties.

Native to east India and Burma, it grows in much of southeast Asia and
west Africa. A few trees have recently been planted in the Caribbean and
several Central American countries. Neem trees are attractive
broad-leaved evergreens that can grow up to 30m tall and 2.5m in
girth. Their spreading branches form rounded crowns as much as 20m
across. Since antiquity Neem has been used in the Indian Ayurveda and
Unani systems of medicine.
