Update: The video is now set to "public." Sorry to anyone who had trouble accessing it before. Thanks to the person who pointed it out.
New Old Stock 1967 Ford Philco Mini Radio-Phono combination. Appears to be in like new condition. Comes in the original box and packaging. Super rare accessory sold through Ford's Philco company. Many of the Philco parts and accessories were available new through Ford over the counter and in their3 catalogs. Plays 45s and 33s. This one is cosmetically nearly perfect, except for a small knick in the coating around the handle. The box is a little rough, as you can see.
This is the only one of these I've ever seen in the box.
It's about 11" long and about 2 lbs.
This has been tested. The radio plays fine on several channels. The record player plays records, but not as loud as the radio plays. See this video of the record player playing "I think we're alone now." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9dQZHu2tY8 The record is included. Compare the sound of the radio to the sound of the record player.
Even the original padding over the record center piece was still attached when I pulled it out of the box.
Also, check out the 1967 article featuring the player. There is a brief write up about it next to the photo of the woman holding the player. How cool is that?
Just imagine this player sitting in your classic Ford at the next car show, playing your favorite tunes. This is one of those Ford accessories that can really help set your car apart from the others.
