scarce german cxn bakelite wwii 6x30 dienstglas binoculars

difficult to find wwii cxn bakelite 6x30 dienstglas binoculars in very good condition 

serial number is 381746 so early production , possibly 1943 

Engraved Triangle indicates cold weather lubricant.

these were produced as materials were difficult to locate later in the war 

Materials were substituted for metals needed elsewhere .

bakelite in good condition only flaw i find is a small crack with an edge chip on the left

assembly near the ouside screw ring .

view is good with some black spots , collimation very good .

right side has reticle ,however  it is tilted in the view 22degrees , has 20 40 marks with vertical lines .

left occular adjustment is slightly  stiff .

the screws holding the right front cover under the eyepiece have some matching red/brown filler in the slots

of the heads , possible wartime repair . scratch in bakelite near one screw .

occular tubes painted flat grey , hinge clevices tan over steel .

overall good wartime binoculars that have seen service use
