DESCRIPTION:  Older (20-30 year-old) vintage Coach Hippie Crescent Saddle Bag designed by Bonnie Cashin. Style # 9988 in Mahogany Brown. Features flap over front w/ brass turn lock, brass strap buckles, crescent saddle bag shape w/ large main interior compartment, interior zip pocket and exterior slip pocket. Hang tag missing (can request replacement from Coach). Unlined interior. Very comfortable, thick strap that can be worn as shoulder or crossbody bag. Made in USA. This is one of my favorites for  style, comfort and function that always gets tons of compliments.  

MEASUREMENTS: Length: 10.5", Height: 10", Depth: 3", Strap Drop: 20" maximum (adjustable)

CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. Minor signs of wear. Leather has one small superficial nick in leather on front flap (pic 2) and one on bottom (pic 6) that barely even show in photos. The rest of the bag is in great condition with very slight light wear to leather piping. Brass shows some patina and light scratching expected from use and age of this bag. Strap is in excellent condition. Interior is in very good condition for its age, with light signs of use. There are a couple of darker areas visible in suede lining, but the suede is very soft and nappy--just the way it should be. This bag is made of natural, glove-tanned cowhide, which has characteristic variations and markings (i.e. scars, scratches, veins, wrinkles, etc.). Overall, I'm rating this one an 8.5/10 for condition (based on age and wear), but please refer to photos for best representation of actual condition of this vintage Coach.  

This Coach has been cleaned inside and out, suede brushed, leather conditioned and polished with high quality leather care products to restore to best possible condition.
