Lg.Antique Sterling Silver Swan with hinged Wings, Elaborate hand chased detail


Description

This is a beauty.  Never seen before in this size. A full 7" long and 6-1/2" tall to top of head.  Extremely fine detail with hinged wings.  One wing has a very old what looks like a repair but I can't see what is repaired.  There are 3 hallmarks on the bottom indicating maker, sterling silver and age.  None of these can be read because they are so worn from age.

Circa 1700-1800's and made by a skilled Silver Smith.
