Somewhat cheap quality
The price was excellent along with free shipping, however the quality cannot compare to authentic Apple products. Not all of my SD cards would work in this reader. I would still recommend because it does work with some cards and the camera. You get what you pay for!!

You get what you pay for.
For $5.95 I should have expected a product of poor quality, but even these products usually work right out-of-the-box . . . this one didn't. The SD card slot would accept the card. However, trying to remove it proved difficult. I thought for a moment that I'd have to break the device to remove the card. It did come out with a little more effort. The USB input couldn't power a thumb drive. All-in-all, not worth the money. Considering the $5.95 cost and the 20% restocking fee with return postage and it isn't even worth returning.

Very cheaply made/flimsy - Disposable?
This was actually the second I ordered. The first worked exactly one time and then literally fell apart. My second identical one has worked a couple of times, but already feels like it is coming apart - further, it now gets the iOS "may not work/not certified" warning... So I'm sure its just a matter of a couple more uses and it will fall apart as well. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra $ for something that will work more reliably and last a bit longer.
