When you hear these names – Stephen King, Amy Tan, Dave Barry, Mitch Albom, Matt Groening, Scott Turow – naturally you think of… music?! Join these legendary authors as they celebrate the final concert of their band, Rock Bottom Remainders, Friday, June 22nd at the El Rey Theatre, presented by Goldenvoice. With a special guest performer who is an actual musician, Roger McGuinn of the Byrds. Proceeds benefit the Midnight Mission, the Los Angeles Downtown Women’s Center and Live Talks Los Angeles. And if you’re our top bidder, your VIP tickets will also benefit The Sound’s Project MUSIC. You’ll even get to meet the band before the show.
The Project M.U.S.I.C. is a non-profit organization devoted to putting music back in the Southern California public school system. All net proceeds of this auction will go to support their cause.  Auction Winner: Please provide payment within 24 hours of the auction close. For convenience tickets will be placed at will call for the date of the show. Please leave a phone number in which we can contact you to work out the names to leave at the window and for the meet and greet with the band. |
