This auction is for a 2002 Fender Standard Jazz Bass Made in Mexico. It is in very good condition being 7 out of 10 due to some scratches and marks as pictured and some scuffs on the back that cannot be seen in the picture. The truss rod works perfectly and the neck is straight as an arrow! The frets have very little, if any fret wear on them. I have installed a set of Noiseless Jazz Pickups in place of the standard mexican pickups for cleaner sound. A set of strap hooks/buttons have been installed. Gig bag is included as well! Because of the labor ensuring everything is done right and the cost of parts, the asking price is $349.99 starting bid! Shipping for all over Australia is $145 which includes insurance and safe and secure packing.
NOTE TO WATCHERS: This is now the 4th (and final) time relisting this bass. Because this bass ended with 16 watchers and no buyers: I'm forced to put out this message: it costs money to relist these items over and over again! Its understood some want to make an informed decision on buying which is ok, but when an item is relisted multiple times with so many watchers and no buyers, its a waste of both my time AND theirs and money as well (as it costs money to relist these items over and over again)!The asking price has been reduced to $349.99 which is the LOWEST I'm willing to accept for this beauty and is NOT unreasonable considering how much time and money was put into it, so theres no point in adding this to your watch list if you're expecting the price to drop because it's not happening! The price covers the cost of parts which was $200+ and labor ensuring everything is set up and done right so the bass will be playable once you get it in the door. Also this is a genuine Fender bass, NOT a Squier, nor are there any Squier parts present. You can buy a cheaper bass and end up frustrated because its not been set up properly and may have other hidden problems in it. Everything is checked daily to ensure there are no hidden problems and is ready to use upon receiving. This bass is ready to mail out and has been relisted for 3 extra days, so I'd really like to get it sold this time, so if interested, place a bid. I have other business to take care of and do not have time for this foolish nonsense relisting items that end with so many watchers thinking theres interest in them only to find out there isnt because some people cant seem to make up their minds over and over again! If I cannot get at least the starting bid and this auction ends without a buyer, I will assume there was no genuine interest in it and I WILL NOT SELL!!!
NOTE TO OVERSEAS BUYERS: While most European countries have a size limit of 108 inches, some have limits of 79 inches which means the bass will have to be shipped in two pieces (neck and body separately). I don't like this anymore than you do but theres no way around it.
