would work if i had a way to power my hard drive.
I still have to find a way to power my hard drive. My computer has no power plugs in it that will work for my IDE Drive. I guess I need an adapter from an SATA Hard drive power supply to a IDE Power supply. I should have just purchased a hard drive case and been done with it. My yes answers above are provisional due to the fact that this didn't work for me. I am sure in some situations this product will work fine. Thanks. Not unhappy just a little disappointed that this isn't the answer to my situation.

Didn't work for me.
I'm not a PC guru, but I have worked with and on computers for many years. These things just did NOT work for me. I tried several times without success...only thing I can figure out is I may have incompatible Windows versions on the hard drives for this to work properly. I gave up.n Fortunately, they were cheap...I read where some have been defective, but I don't know about these.
