PAYMENTS: We offer Master Card, Visa, and Discover Credit Cards, as well as Pay-Pal, which will be shipped to a confirmed address only! We will not ship to unconfirmed or unregistered shipping addresses, we also will not ship to third parties. Intention of payment should be made within 24 hours of winning an auction. Identification may be required and cleared funds approved before picking up items in person.
SHIPPING: We ship using USPS Priority mail and UPS ground. We only use UPS and USPS Priority shipping services for ground shipping at this time as they provide shipping or tracking numbers as proof of shipping and delivery, as required by credit card and PayPal issuers.
Shipping beyond the 48 contiguous continental United States to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and some other US territories may use a different shipping formula of dimensional weight instead of actual weight on some items, mostly due to sizing. The shipping calculator can sometimes be off for these places. Shipping prices to these locations may be subject to corrected updating if they are found to be incorrectly formulated.
We offer combined shipping whenever possible as items can be combined and shipped together. Combined shipping can save substantial money especially on the smaller type items. We can only offer combined shipping when the items can be shipped and packaged at the same time. When using combined shipping, please do not pay until you have purchased all of your items. We cannot combine shipping on multiple separately paid orders after they have been processed. USPS has 4 different prices and box sizes for their Flat Rate Priority Shipping to within the US Domestic for a flat fee regardless of weight as long as it can be properly packaged within their box sizes without bulging and has proper cushioning. Beyond the 48 contiguous continental United States, USPS Flat Rate boxes have weight limits, which are a maximum of 4lbs for Small Flat Rate Shipping boxes, and a maximum of 20lbs for all other Flat Rate shipping box sizes. The current eBay shipping calculator cannot identify if or when multiple lots or quantities of the combined items can ship properly within the required sizes of the different Flat Rate boxes, so please allow us to either confirm or properly assess if and when Flat Rate boxes can be used. We will then send an updated and revised invoice before check out is completed.
Proof of all shipments are provided with a shipping or tracking number, which is why we will not use media or standard first class mail without a shipping confirmation or signature required. We reserve the right to use, or change a shipping service when it is deemed appropriate at our discretion. We will always carefully pack your item so that it arrives safely at your front door.
The shipping liability becomes the responsibility of the shipping carrier in accordance to their guidelines upon their acceptance of the packages and shipments as they are being accepted in a good and properly packaged condition. The shipping carrier or shipping service has all control and becomes responsible for any damages or losses within their separate policies after the package leaves our store. Should damages incur, we will give customers help in expediting claims information that may be needed. Claims vary with each shipping service, as far as time frames, or reporting or starting any claims, which is usually within 24 hours. When signing for an item if there is ever any noticeable or possible damage to the box or packaging, the item must be inspected before signing for the package. Your signature is an acknowledgment of your acceptance of the package arriving in good condition, unless it is physically noted with your signature; without this it can waive the shipping carrier's liability or additional responsibilities.
If an incorrect shipping address is provided and the item is shipped to it, the buyer then becomes responsible for both the return shipment costs of the package, and the re-shipment fees.
TRUCK FREIGHT: We ship truck freight only to the continuous continental United States only. We have a separate freight policy regarding freight shipping, which is usually added to the item's description and is separately stated. If packaging, crating, palleting, or shipping preparations are required for shipping, these charges are normally within the item's description.
CANADIAN/ INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: This is something we will ship USPS or UPS. Note that Canadian/ International orders may have separate customs fees, duties, separate taxes, or brokerage fees that can be excessive depending upon the type of item. These are separate charges that are controlled differently through each country's customs requirements, and the shipping service providers. These charges are not included in the shipping and handling. These fees are to be paid directly to customs. We have no way to know what these fees are and it is your own responsibility to know or find out prior to purchasing an item. Usually USPS is the most preferred means of shipping from what most Canadians have told us, as most of the time these fees are not applied.
Each country has different regulations as to what can and cannot be shipped or imported into their country. Although we try to anticipate this, occasionally some countries will prohibit certain goods from being imported. In these cases, we will fully refund and must cancel these types of transactions. We must fully disclose information regarding the details of the item and it's cost, and we cannot falsify the declaration of the item's true value under penalties or prosecution on all exported goods.
FEES AND SALES TAX: We include a small charge in the shipping and handling to cover the increasing costs of packaging materials including boxes, packing wrap, bubble wrap, packing tapes, packing slips, and other associated shipping supplies, as well as labor cost which we never make profit on. On difficult shipping items that are not already boxed or packaged properly we may also include the extra charges for shipping tubes or extra labor associated in the cost of preparing an item within the shipping cost. These fees will either be included in the shipping and handling or will be noted in the auction listing as an extra expense, but they are never hidden. We are required by state law to collect sales taxes in Rhode Island 7%, Connecticut 6%, and Massachusetts 6.25%.
CONSIDERING PICK UP: We welcome most pickups in person during our normal business hours at our store's location in Warwick, RI or the item's stored location. Whenever possible, please let us know in advance, or when purchasing your items as we try to prepare items to ship out upon sale. If your item has already been packaged, we may charge a small packaging fee to cover our cost of packaging materials and labor. With larger items we will usually help load them by offering forklift assistance when needed. It is the customer's sole responsibility to safely secure and tie down items in your vehicle, in accordance to all State Laws and DOT regulations.
DELIVERY: We try to ship most orders the same day whenever possible according the to carrier or shipping service being used and our own normal business hours excluding weekends and holidays. Sometimes it may take 48 hours during busy times. We know you are excited to have your new item, so of course we will ship as soon as we can after your completed payment has been received. USPS picks up when we open early so those orders will usually ship the next day. We are on the East Coast, so orders lets say to the West Coast may take up to 6- 7 business days not including weekends or holidays. We send UPS and USPS Priority shipping confirmations when orders are shipped, which includes a tracking number. If you do not receive it, please make sure you check your Spam blocker or junk email box as that is sometimes where they can be found. We do not send any unsolicited or wanted emails. LISTINGS: We try to list items the best we can, and we do not over rate items. Some of the items we may list are from close outs, auctions, or even consignments. We will do our best to accurately describe these items to you. From time to time we may sell items we do not deal with or have any knowledge about. In most cases we research these items on the Internet to find applications. There may be times we list an item in error from having no knowledge of it, or sometimes it is simply human error. We take a lot of detailed pictures of these item in most cases to help eliminate the guesswork for our customers. ITEM CONDITIONS AND NOS: Sometimes NOS (NEW OLD STOCK) items can be very old and although they are new, they can have slight imperfections in them. This maybe because of the way they were made years ago, or they may have slight imperfections, bruises, scuffs or minor dings from being moved around the shelving over the years with other items bumping into them. We do our best to describe these imperfections (if any) in our listings whenever it is possible and worth noting. We take many photographs of our items in order to give an accurate depiction of them. These photos may be taken both with and without the flash, to try to give an accurate representation. We do not alter or enhance any of our photos in order for best accuracy. We may use a manufacturer's photo to supplement the listing, but we always show the true item being sold, unless separate notations are made within the item's listing.
RETURNS & REFUNDS: We have a lot of items that we cannot offer returns on. The reason may be that they are close outs, auction bought, consignment, or we may not have the means to return them to the manufacturer. Other items may be discontinued, be one of a kind and cannot be replaced, or be something we just want to remove from inventory and no longer carry. Some items we may have no means to properly test, inspect or try out. All items have no warranty or guarantee unless explicitly stated within the item's description. Some items may have a return policy only stated in our ad listing. These are the only returns which will be accepted.
In rare unforeseen cases, if we overlook any unreasonable problems or misrepresent the item as something totally different from how it may be described and illustrated, within any reasonable parameters, we will try our best to resolve or correct it whenever possible. Returned items that are accepted must be returned in the original packages, and in original condition. The returned item will be refunded for the purchased price minus all shipping charges, unless we find we made an error of shipping wrong item or greatly misrepresented the item, in those cases we will give a full refund including shipping costs as we deem appropriate.
