I had not heard of Anker, but apparently they are a reputable brand. Build quality was very high on these USB charging cables and the connection is firm and satisfying. So far they have held up to daily use for a matter of months and I am very satisfied with my purchase. The braiding is tight and smooth and has not frayed at all. Overall highly recommended replacement for a Micro USB cable.

Recieved both on April 9 and now it is May 20 and one of the 2 cables is already defective. It shows the charging symbol when plugged in but the battery life percentage never increases. I troubleshooted it to the cable by trying 2 different devices and chargers. The cable acts in this way no matter which charger or device its connected to. The other cable in the set is still working as of right now. I have had dollar store cords last much longer. I will NEVER buy another Anker product again.

Usually charging cords get loose and go bad over time, but these ones have lasted a long time and still havent gotten loose connection. I decided to buy more, since these are the best ones i have ever owned and you cannot beat the price.

I’ve had the same cord before for Apple products. Anker cords are flexible, the connections to the cord itself are metal and very securely attached. Other cords I’ve bought haven’t lasted. Usually the cord has pulled away from the plastic part (they’ve always been plastic.) This never happened with Anker cords. The other odd bonus: unlike other cords, for some reason my cats don’t like to chew on these!

The reviews for Anker cables have been good so I thought I'd try one. Compared the charging current for our Kindle using another cable we had and the Anker cable. The Anker permitted twice as much charging current to flow as the one we had been using. I bought more Anker cables and tossed the others. Seem to be rugged and well constructed.
