Chemical peels have a burning or tingling sensation a few minutes after applying, this is normal. While using TCA, your skin with start to peel or flake about three days after applying the facial. The complete peeling process takes roughly seven days. Some skin types may take up to two weeks depending on the strength of peel used.

1 dram diluted to 20% will produce 15 facial peels if applying with q-tip.

For a 50 percent mixture, combine one part 100 percent TCA and one part water. For a 25 percent solution, combine one part 50 percent TCA and one part water. For a 12 percent solution, combine one part 25 percent TCA with one part water. If you need a mixture that is weaker than 12 percent, simply add more water.

Never apply 100% TCA. First time users should apply 25% to 30%. TCA can be diluted with water to produce a weaker solution.

Dram Directions:

  • Wash face with soap
  • Then, clean with rubbing alcohol or witch hazel.
  • Let face air dry completely.
  • Absorb q-tip with diluted TCA by dipping q-tip into mixture.
  • Apply q-tip using a sweeping motion to your face avoiding eyes and mouth.
  • Wash hands after use.
  • Wash TCA with water 2 minutes after you feel tingling

Gel Directions:

  • Wash face with soap
  • Then, clean with rubbing alcohol or witch hazel.
  • Let face air dry completely.
  • Mix gel in jar or palm of hand.
  • Apply gel using a sweeping motion to your face avoiding eyes and mouth.
  • Wash hands after use.
