This 2.4 GHz Red Wireless Optical Mouse fits comfortably in the hand, synched up quickly with the computer and tracks well. It arrived quickly and appeared securely packaged for the mail. However, it "goes dormant" if not used for a few minutes and requires the user to click the mouse buttons to "revive" or "wake it up" before it can next be used. This may not be a problem for many and probably extends the battery life but this user found it annoying to perform a 'wake up' procedure, if it hadn't been actuated in a short period of time, each time the mouse was needed.

In order for the mouse to work, it needs to be opened - that is how it turns on. After 3-4 months of usage the foldable part of the mouse got a bit loose and it won't stay firm when opened. Since it isn't firm, the connection itself is not stable because the mouse is constantly turning on and off. It is a pretty annoying, as you have to force it with your hand while you use it. And only on flat, hard surfaces. It's a shame because i would've given it a 5-star in the first few months if it wasn't for this...

I bought this mouse because it folds up small and I can put it in my pocket when I go to meetings. I have had it for over 6 months and it has worked great. It is comfortable and stylish. I like the fact that after about 10 minutes of no use, it goes to sleep to save the battery. Just tap the mouse on the desk and it wakes up. It's movement is very precise and smooth, not jumpy. I bought several more to use as stocking stuffers for Christmas.
