Description:   We were recently consigned three antique English Helmets that were picked from a Massachusetts home, and have never been on the market before. The first two helmets have sold and are with their new owners, this is the last helmet we have for sale. ……. This antique Helmet is from the 1st Kings Dragoon Guard. This magnificent solid brass Helmet is in all original condition, including its red horse-hair plume. Inside, retains the original leather & cloth liner and the brass retains the large majority of the thin oil cloth lining. If you look down, inside the helmet, you can see the original handmade nuts, which hold all of the brass hardware onto the helmet. There are some very minor dents to the helmet and the inner red leather lining to the chin strap has separated. Overall, this 19th century Kings Dragoon Guard Headgear is in wonderful original condition.
