This is a one-off, custom-ordered and custom-built Fender Custom Shop Jazz Bass that was built exclusively for a St. Louis-area customer in 1998. It was special ordered and
purchased brand new by its original owner at an authorized Fender retailer in
the St. Louis area. It features the very rare Burgundy Mist finish on a
standard Fender American Jazz body that has been semi-relic’d.
Everything on this beautiful bass is original. It
is in NEAR MINT condition and fully functional, with exceptional playability
and tone. The original Certificate of Authenticity from Fender’s Custom Shop
was lost at some point, but we called Fender and they sent us information on
how to go about getting another COA to accompany this beautiful and rare bass.
Those instructions will come with the bass.
This is an excellent opportunity to own a very
special, custom-ordered Fender Jazz bass!
