This is a true vintage schwinn Paramount  1 1/8 mountain bike steel frame. A green-ish color . Probably from early 1990's.  I never rode it, but is been taken care of.. some scratches have been re-touched. This was not their lightest frame, but it kept all of the same ride characteristics.  This frame did not exist when v-brakes existed. It was originally set only of cantilever brakes.  However, I did add a clamp-on cable stop to use v-brakes.  It includes its original 1/8 THREADED steel fork.   I may have 1/8 threadless forks somewhere....maybe old marzocchi parts

   I added some high quality parts to this bike.
  -XTR steel seatpost. Used, but unlike a thomson seatpost, it fit PERFECTLY in this frame.  The clamp had had use, but I included a WTB SST installed on seatpost.                  -A shimano Deore DX 175mm cranks with 34 tooth chainring. As the picture shows, these are still shiny from recent purchase.  They will not accept a 74mm chainring. I does come with a new 34t chainring. The bottom bracket is used, I may have another...
-If you use the fork, which is threaded, I include a Syncros 120mm stem, 15%rise, 
It has no bolts to bolt the bar clamp.      25.4 clamp
I may have a straight handle bar somewhere...

SUPER HARD TO FIND  . It is, as many know, an older high end rigid fork that would fit the frame nicely. I can add pictures later.  I will include pictures of the stems and brake levers.  The seatpost size is 26.8----------------------------------

Back in the day (my self included) ran 150mm length stems.  I now add a Specialized silver 1/8 150mm stem to this frame.

getting some questions about size:  center of bb to TOP of seattube is 19" center to center of toptube is 18".  This frame should fit a good amount of people with variety of stem lenghts. A 5 11" person last fit this frame, but it could easily fit a shorter/taller person.  The top tube is 22.5 inches, pretty normal length for a frame size of its era.

Any one still reading? This just on and on.  For your cantilever brake users I put in some mint dia-compe "power curve" Pc-7   no cable adjusters.

I had mentioned a ritchey hub. I only wanted keep the dropouts safe. It was f#cked

so I added Shimano once made a silent "clutch drive" rear hub.  Its in great shape.
