A gold 1990 Nintendo World Championships promo cartridge. The number-one video game collectable in authenticated NearMint+ VGA graded 85 condition. Sealed in an archival quality display (UV protection), this cartridge was consigned to be preserved in this unique manner to show off all the details from a front view. Complete paperwork describing the cart….and its graded condition… is also included. The last pictures are from "pre-slab" days (a couple months ago). A lot of folks requested to see them.
A few individuals asked if this could be put back together as a "normal cart" display and still retain the grade and authentication. VGA offers this service for about $100. Not everyone is happy with my display it seems. :) :)
If
you’re looking, you probably already know the story. It plays Mario, Rad Racer,
and Tetris on a scored and timed challenge. 26 gold and 90 grey carts were
distributed. Information is easy to find on the web.
Fakes and reproductions are already out
there. This is a unique opportunity to own the top-of-the-line “holy grail” of
